Just traded BButler, BWood & JLoney for Mark Teixeira, Ryan Theriot & Renyel Pinto in a DYNASTY LEAGUE. Big gamble I know!
Cain is lgith years better then Sowers esp in fantasy, and Longoria is alot better then Granderson who i dont think will be much at the pro level then an average corner OF... and trust me he will be moved to the corner as soon as Maybin is ready who has plus everything and better Defense for CF.
Capuano is alot better then Ianetta.
I really dont put too much value in a C even if they pan out most are just adequate players at other positions if there was ever a switch unless the name is Mauer or McCann.
Ianetta i dont see getting anywhere near that and being a little less then Martin talent wise... which isnt bad but compared to other postions like Cap's it is.
not sure about 2, but since you have McCann, it's a good deal as Cap is a good pitcher.
Longoria will probably get a Sept call up, Lincecum maybe 1 or 2 month earlier. I don't think Longoria will be a regular until middle of next season. Lincecum could be a regular as soon as his call up.
Again, I'm higher on Lincecum than most.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.
I would make both those trades. Capano is mister consistancy. And both guys you get in the first trade are better than either guy you give up.

trade 1 is awesome IMO....Great for you
I think in one years time u may be able to gtet someone better than Cappy for Iannetta but that's somewaht risky. Playing it safe, I'd make trade 2 but if you have some gambling blood in you, keep Ianetta and sell high in a few months perhaps. Look at how far mcCann's value went in one years' time...crazy.
I love trade 1 for you. Cain is better then Sowers easily and Longoria will be much better then Granderson. I don't like 2, as I think that Capuano will suffer some this year. I would prefer to see if Iannetta can off to a great start and then move him for something better.

I'd do them both.
Sowers < Cain
Granderson < Longoria
If I remember correctly, I told you to try to get Cappy for Iannetta. I am going to stick to my guns and tell you to do it. Iannetta won't be a McCann this year, and, if anything his value will go down. I just see some growing pains personally. Your SP will be solid if you can pull off both of those
I would definitely do Trade 1. I agree with the idea of Cain > Sowers and Longoria > Granderson...although it may take a little while for Longoria/Granderson opinion to prove true.
I don't think I would take Trade 2. Granted, Capuano is better than Iannetta right now. But a few years ago I took a chance and kept a guy by the name of Victor Martinez....needless to say it turned out well. I am not saying that Iannetta has the upside of V-Mart, but I would rather take the chance on a catcher (position scarcity) that could bust out than a pitcher who's upside is still only a No. 3.
