Jorge Cantu

Does he make the team this year? There seems to be some question. Opinions? I'm trying to figure out if I need to find another 2B. From RotoWorld today:

Jorge Cantu is being used as a designated hitter again on Thursday and may not see much time at second base if he even makes the team.

Cantu's defense has turned into a real problem, and with a .250/.259/.339 line in 56 at-bats, he's also put in a poor showing offensively this spring. The Rays could demote him and use B.J. Upton and Brendan Harris at second base. Making Cantu a DH when Jonny Gomes has been far more productive this spring wouldn't make much sense.

in the B.J. Upton thread in the Leftovers forum, deerayfan072 is of the opinion that Cantu probably won't make the team. it's looking like Upton time at 2b...there is some expectation of an actual announecement within the next day...
