Post All-Star break hit .300 12 HR, 37RBI, 43 R, 6SB, slugged.487 and had a .359 OBP
It's Julio Lugo!!!!!!!!
Saw that...and have him on my radar screen. And he was acquitted, so you don't have to feel like you're drafting a bad dude.
Also, R. Soriano, J. Bay, and T. Redman will be guys in my league that fly under the radar a bit
If I were playing third base and my mother were rounding third with the run that was going to beat us, I'd trip her. Oh, I'd pick her up and brush her off and say, 'Sorry, Mom,' but nobody beats me.

Huff as a sleeper? I figured everyone knows what he can do by now.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I am sure both of you will soon receive a verbal lashing from wreves on how Adam Dunn ruins your fantasy team very soon.
Lol.
It gets even worse if Dunn winds up in LA.

1st rounder?!
If you really believe those numbers, then I have this big green statue of a woman holding a torch for sale. Nice view of the water too.
No way in the world. That's not even close to realistic.

As a Tejada owner, I can only hope for numbers like that.
I'd say more realistic:
.300/90/35/115/15
And that's assuming they get some more bats around him.

Jody Gerut is a good lookin kid...don't know if hes a better real life player than a fantasy player though.
Gotta love Rafael Soriano.
Whoever plays 2b for the Red Sox (bellhorn) is certainly a good choice for the same reason that Hairston in Baltimore is a good choice.
Miguel Batista will win a good number of games with that Toronto offense, but I see a risk in him in that his team has to face Boston and New york 19 times already and if the yankees sign Vlad and Pudge to go with Tejada that offense is gonna be ridiculous so you'll only be able to use him half the time cuz those 3 teams will probably smoke him.
Rocco Baldelli (GO RHODE ISLAND YEAHHH!!!!) and Carl Crawford should see big years after having high quality 03 campaigns.
If Bronson Arroyo lands the fifth spot in Boston's rotation, look for a year of about 13-10, 3.80...not bad if you can get him late.
If Boston trades Scott Williamson, look to see if he is closing ball games for wherever he goes (White Sox?)
I am a Red Sox fan, forgive me for the abundance of Red Sox commentary.
That being said, Javier Vasquez with that NYY offense behind him is CERTAINLY high on my draft list. He's got a chance to win 20 games if the switch from Montreal to high pressure NY doesn't get to him.
That's just a list of guys off the top of my head. Vasquez and Soriano to me are probably the two most "Hmmmmm good choice" kinda guys though.
im going with a less popular guy..my sleeper is jon leiber
after having tommy john surgery a couple years ago, he should be ready to go for the yankees
he'll be a 4 or 5 starter so he will get a better pitching matchup plus he should have tons of run support
