Top Sleeper?

Who is your top sleeper for this year? Personally, i have Rafael Soriano assuming he gets a starting role and Kaz Matsui.

Griffey. Odds are he has to stay healthy sometime. And Jose Contreras, John Thompson, and Jaret Wright.

Griffey will still go higher than I am willing to take him. Soriano will be on my list of sleepers. It looks like he will have a starting job.

Pat Burrell. He's not as bad as he looked last year.

Whoever hits leadoff for BAL... Hairston, most likely, they have Tajada and Gibbons, and still might sign Vlad, I-Rod or Javy... thats a lot of power behind the leadoff spot...

Some of these depend on how spring training works out (and what exactly you mean by a sleeper)

Hammock (c/3b/of sure helps)
Jason Phillips
Marlon Byrd
Luis Matos
Garret Atkins
Reed Johnson
(I already have R Soriano on my keeper list :-b )

Agreed. He might not return to his numbers from the year before last but he will be a good 4th of or utility.

My sleeper picks for the year:
Randy Johnson (amazing how little talk he's getting right now)
Anyone who's not a superstar on the Padres, but plays on offense (Burroughs, Greene, Hernandez, Nady)
Trevor Hoffman
Phil Nevin
Hideki Matsui
Adam Dunn
Pat Burrell

Now, sure, you've heard of all these guys, but they're also the guys that will be undervalued in the draft, due to the fact that they were either injured a good deal of the season, or their last year stats weren't that great, and people are going to harp on them when they bid.

It appears we all have different definitions of "sleeper"

Darren Dreifort
Felipe Lopez
Brandon Larson
D'Angelo Jimenez
Oscar Villareal
Adam Eaton
Oliver Perez
Brad Lidge
Ramon Castro
Robby Hammock
And the player I'm really intrigued with right now...Shawn Chacon.

As you can tell I'm an NL only deep league kinda guy.
