Live Draft CBS

Our 12 team keeper league drafted last Sunday. The team with the first pick was on autodraft. The draft started and the first team timed out and was given " no pick". The rest of the draft was problem free. My ? is what if anything can be done to compensate the team? Anyone else ever have this happen? The commish contacted CBS for a solution but has no response yet. A redraft is impossible. The only thing I can think of is to give the team a reduced entry fee and put him at the top of the ww. Thanks for any help.
