All in all I can deal with my team. It is decent but has its flaws. I was tired in middle of draft and probably should have grabbed another starter early then when I went for my late draft bargains they kept getting snagged early (i hate have over 20 picks inbetween mine). Home runs and steals are not areas you want to have to think twice about early in the season. Possible too much dependence on young players especially markakis. Feedback?

I'd say too much dependence on injury-prone players.

Drop Kenny Rogers - he worked out well for me last year, but I cannot imagine him repeating the feat this year. Try to trade Lugo - under the new coaching, he will not get the green light as often as he did back in Tampa Bay.

Be weary of injuries. Try to trade someone like J.D. Drew for someone who is more reliable to stay healthy throughout the season.

I know drew is an injury risk but I got a bargain on him and need to take a risk on his tremendous upside if healthy. I am not really seeing any other injury prone players. Out of curiosity who else are you considering injury prone?

Lot of promise. 4 bad ass RP's now that Julio has the starting job. Use one of them and another of your choice to aquire a stud bomber or SP. Again, alot of promise with an according trade.

Plenty of upside with your team. Not a roto player, only play H2H, so I may be off base. I would try for a trade of a another bat.

That is pretty much the plan. Now that rogers went down I think it is going to have to be a SP. Any ideas which rp would be best to trade. I lean towards julio but I cant shake the feeling he has a good year, its almost the perfect situation for him. Only problem is I see high chance that he is basically deadline trade bait.

I agree with you on Julio. However i think that you only need three closers. With that said, trade an established closer to maximize your trade value. Trade out Todd Jones. You have Zumaya and if Jones goes down your the man.

Trade out Todd Jones.

I had toyed with that idea but he had a pretty solid second half, albeit still an anomly to his career numbers. I am not sure he is quite as close to losing his job as everyone thinks.

You still might want to trade a hitter for a RP. I don't think Jones strikes out enough guys to be considered as a serious closer. With Rodney and Zumaya, it might not take a lot for Detroit to start replacing him.

Put Rogers on the DL and go get that starter you want. There should be some hidden gems on the WW. Someone like Maine, Francis, Jennings, etc... should be available.
