Really like this game but his loss of arm strength has really been a mystery this spring. Lost almost 10mph off his fastball. Thus he was sent down to Syracuse.

Saying this my team may not challange this year and is loaded with several N/A players. Would it be wise then to cut League?

I like Lindstrom myself... i think he has the stuff and mental makeup to make a good closer in the bigs... watch out if he gets the reigns to do so for Fla. if Julio bombs.

That's a pretty sorry list, but I guess I like Lindstrom as well, and Salas might eventually be in the running in TB if Orvella and Reyes both fail

Either way I'd find a replacement for League.

And I hate that first deal for you, Schmidt or Santana, either way you're getting robbed IMO. Loewen would kill your WHIP. Let Schmidt start the season well and then trade him.

The second deal doesn't look too bad, but I still think I'd sit tight if I were you.

There has to be other players available on the wire. There are some quality starters that I was able to find cheap. Do you see any other guys out there that may be available? I actually would take a look at K Wells (who had a good spring) or even G Floyd (who is in the rotation for a winning team in ChiSox).

Also, I would do the Capuano deal. You have McCann, and Cap will boost your rotation some.
