Any impact from these pitchers this year?

Postby PedroFan45 » Wed Mar 28, 2007 6:33 pm

I have Adam Miller, Andrew Miller, Tim Lincecum. I already traded Hughes for Gordon. I'm in a 10 team H2H league. We keep 10 at the end of the year so I won't really be able to keep any of these pitchers. Are any of these guys worth hanging onto for the year or should I drop them?

My Pitching Staff
Lackey
Bedard
Hill
Robertson
Pedro
Broxton
Torres
Miller, Miller, Lincecum

FA Pitchers:
Hudson

all 3 should be up at some point of the year & all 3 could have impact, tough to hold onto them now. you have no minor league system ??? at least one of them will have a big impact & could be the Cole Hamels/Matt Cain of this year

There's no minor league system. The owner before me picked up a bunch of these guys hoping they would help the pitching staff this year.

I dont really have too much room to keep any of them at the end of the year since we only keep 10 and my offense right now is:
C Barrett
1B Berkman, Lee
2B Weeks
SS Tejada, Guillen
3B Jones, Gordon
OF Beltran, Soriano, Holliday, Pierre, Damon

After some adds/drops my pitching is now
SP Lackey, Bedard, James, Hill, RJ (waiver request) and Miller, Miller, Lincecum
RP Torres, Broxton
DL Pedro, Cliff Lee

all three will be up at some point this year....

Ad. Miller was being clocked at recently with a 100mph heater so his velocity is back since he was injured and he pitched fairly well in spring. i still think he will be more of a #2 then a frontline guy tho which isnt bad either.

An Miller will be up i think with a Sept. cup of coffe for Detroit this year.... he doesnt need to be rushed out of the 3 but i think his ceiling is the highest of them all

Timmy Linc should be up the soonest imo and has frontline starter/Reliever potnetial. he has the highest K ability of them but also the weakest command of the 3. think more of an lesser version of Oswalt here

If you can't keep any of them, then you should drop probably drop at least Andrew .

Drop Andrew Miller. He won't make an impact this year.
