Yahoo Public leagues are PATHETIC!

Postby sportsaddict » Wed Mar 28, 2007 5:12 pm

The following trade in my league between 2 members was vetoed, after an owner called for a veto because the players "were not of equal trade value."

Travis Hafner
Felix Hernandez

for

Vladamir Guerrero
Freddy Garcia

The Hafner owner needed a bit of outfield help, so it made sense for him. Is this not insane? I agree that I like the Hafner side, but you can make a great argument for the Vlad side, just depending on which player you like better. This doesnt even really affect me but I'm already mad. I always play in a few public Yahoo leagues every year, and they always disappoint. This right here is another example of the incompetence in Yahoo leagues

You are correct. Public leagues ARE pathetic. Play with those you know or those who have proven to be on the up and up...like most at the Cafe!
