Here it is another year and no one still uses this place to post information on the Astros.
You don't have to like 'em to own 'em!!!!

I posted a couple of times and the threads got no views so I just went elsewhere. There just isn't any interest in the Astros. I wish there were. Truly do. Hopefully more people will respond this season and we'd be able to get some talks off. I'll be checking in every so often to talk Astros.
Tell me what you think of my team. All advice accepted! Thanks!

OK. Let talk 2007 Astros. Are they improved? I don't see it.
I think they desperately need Clemens back.

1. R. Oswalt
2. J. Jennings
3. W. Williams
4. W. Rodriguez
5. C. K. Sampson

The offense should be better than last year with Ensberg healthy and C. Lee now in LF but I don't see that making up for the SP.

We not only need Clemens back but we could also use another SP as well as a hitting SS and C (I love Ausmus, but I'd much rather see him coaching than playing). It seems our 7, 8 and 9 hitters are 3 easy outs (Garner's lineup last night with Everett 2nd was laughable).

I don't usually gripe, as I'm really happy we went out to get some lineup protection for Berkman and I'm encouraged that Ensberg can bounce back. I'd just like to start a season without so many question marks.

Don't even get me started on Lidge.... ;-)
