Also, do Minor Leaguers count towards the Keepers? I just skimmed through and didn't catch anything about that.

And I have to say that Books are for me, I study Philosophy vigorously. Hopefully that doesn't disqualify me.

Well I'm not exactly sure if minor leaguers are in the ESPN system, but if they are not I will make a minor league forum on the proboards site I will unveil sometime tommorow for the league.

I will keep track of all minor leaguers taken and have a list and I will add them to your team once they get called up. That being said they do not take up a DL spot but they take up a roster spot so that spot will be dead

You can keep these minor leaguers, even if they don't show up on your roster ((are not called up by the end of the year)) but they are not a dead keeper you will be using a keeper spot on them

Next year when we have some more time I think we might be holding a slow, forum draft that may include a 5 or 6 round minor league draft and the owner keeping 2 or 3 minor leaguers from the 6 selected in that draft but that is still to be decided.

For now they will take a roster spot that will be dead, I will have a list, so they are quality picks if you do pick them.

Also I dunno I might have to not send you an invite, some of us aren't quite as smart as you and you might just crush us. Just kidding I'll hit you up with the invite ASAP.

either way I've sent all invites so far

we have 14 members sent up with 3 invites sent out to other people

if everyone signs up we have 17 members so far, but I don't think its happening

I think we have 15 members currently signed up if espnsportsfan signs up

come on guys 5 more members in 1 day isn't impossible

I ask everyone who posts here if you know anyone who is interested make them leave their email here it would really be awesome if we could fill this league.

Well sorry to double post everyone but the announcment in regard to the league is that with the interest I have had I have decided to make a proboards site that you can find right http://verydeepkeeper.proboards84.com/index.cgi

all the forums are completed but the posts need to be stuck in there and that should happen later tonight. We will be having a draft on the forum next year that may include a minor league draft. I have a few interesting ideas for next year but that can wait, for now just keep joining we need 5 or 6 more members and then we'll be good.

The draft is tommorow at 3:15 PM EST so be there.

we need 3 more members and then we are set for the draft

it is also a learning experience for you guys that would like to learn more about the MLB universe as a whole

the proboards site is, at least in my opinion, very well done and I truley beleive that this is a league that will stick around so come out and try it.
