Your team looks very solid for a league as deep as 18 teams. Your infield looks very good and if kept intact for seasons to come could probably be the best in the league.
As far as closers and relievers I would just hound the wire. I wouldn't trade anyone from your offense because talent is thin with 18 teams and you've no suitable replacements. Maybe try and ship out Mussina or Schilling for a decent closer.

I've tried dealing Mussina or Schilling; but considering this is a Keeper league many managers are blinded by youth. This is the reason why two top 15 pitchers from last year fell so far in my draft, and I had no problem picking em up. They are solid guys and anchor my young staff, if a deal comes across, I'll consider it but I doubt it'll come.
You really think Wigginton can be a keeper ? I hadn't thought of that. I know he's a very valuable UTIL player and I love having on my team, if all else fails...he could be the 8th guy. I have a feeling Chad Tracy could be a top 5-10 3B though. We'll see, and I still have Torri Hunter.
Right now its at 8a. Torri Hunter, 8b. Chad Tracy, 8c. Ty Wigginton.
First of all I like your team, I can't imagine drafting in a league that big. I have the same problem as you do, I don't have any closers. I have otuska who might have to get out of the way for gagne, and wainwight who is starting. Who is this Hermanson guy that you picked up? Hes on the WW in our league too, is he worth picking up? Do you know of any other guys that might be on the WW in a 12 team league that might be a better option?

Hermanson is going to be the Closer for the Cincy Reds...for now. He may or may not be a permanent solution, but I need some saves and he currently has the job. He used to play on the White Sox in 05, and acquired 34 svs, 5 holds, and a 2 era. He's a flyer, but could make an impact. If I were you, I'd look for Jorge Julio or Salomon Torres before getting Hermanson.

I added Trevor Hoffman and Eric Gagne. I think out of Otsuka and Gagne, one will emerge and become a good fantasy closer. I also added another young arm (Chad Billingsly-22 years) to my other young guns (Chris Young, Scott Olsen). Casey Blake was also replaced w/ Moises Alou.

It looks pretty solid for an 18 team league. I think your 8th keeper is undoubtedly Chad Tracy. Im as high up on him as you are and I believe he is going to be a stat-stuffer in the years to come. You have a great base of youth and I believe you will do very well.

I made the move to get Trevor Hoffman, & Eric Gagne. Not sure what will happen with Gagne, but I have him paired w/ Otsuka and one should emerge as the #1 closer for the Rangers and should get me around 30 svs. With Hoffman / Gagne-Otsuka, I should be fine for saves in an 18-Teamer. Considering pairing Hoffman, w/ another player and getting a young Closer (that I could keep), maybe K-Rod, Papelbon, or Chris Ray.
