I agree with the above keepers. However, I do believe that you might want a few more closers. Look for Hermanson or Julio on the waiver wire and they might help you compete in saves. I think your starters are good for an 18 team league and I really like the Utley, Hanley, C. Lee combo. Overall I think you have a good chance to win with a few more saves.

Hermanson is on the Wire. Will he be the Opening Day Closer ? What kind of stats do you look for out of him ? Julio is taken BTW, I'm also trying to swing deals for some lesser Tier 2 Closers like Chris Ray.
Agreed that your weakness is pitching and closer, but it might not hurt as much in such a deep league. Hard to recommend you trade someone because you don't seem to have any clear backups -- your bench guys wouldn't be worth starting. I'd also look for a young catcher to replace AJ. Don't suppose Ianetta is around, is he?

Ianetta is gone, and I'm finding it hard to make a deal with the owner. McCann started a big Catcher run and I passed on it and waited real late and AJ was the only mediocre Catcher left, and I snatched him up.
Still not sure about my Keepers, this is what I have in mind
1. Chase Utley
2. Hanley Ramirez
3. Carlos Lee
4. Adrian Gonzales
5. Nick Swisher
6. Chris Young
7. Scott Olsen
8a. Chad Tracy 8b. Torri Hunter
Any other ratings, or suggestions to improve my team ? All replies are appreciated. Thanks

Who do yall predict as my 8 Keepers ? How is my team ?What should I do to improve my team ?*Keep in mind, 18 Teamer
Right now, your 8 keepers:
Utley
Ramirez
Lee
A Gonzalez
Swisher
Hunter
C Young
Olsen/Hensley?
In an 18teamer, Utley is money. Nice job snaggin him. I'm also a big time fan of Young, so i really like what you've got going on here. With Utley/Ramirez you undoubtedly have the best middle infield (which is hard to fill in an 18 teamer) that also consequentially covers steals. I like the team, but it's hard to compare it to drafts I've done. RP looks to be a problem as well.
I forgot to add an important fact about my league, for every hold, a pitcher recieves 5 pts (saves 10). So Otsuka, and JDuch's value is more than most anticipated. My bad I haven't mentioned it.
I just picked up Hermanson. I also heard on ESPN radio that Gagne will begin the season on the DL, giving Otsuka a much better chance at keeping the Closer job. Hopefully that + the Holds from JDuch will be enough relief pitching. I've looked for deals for many closers, but it would cost my Adrian Gonzales or Chris Young or Nick Swisher, all guys valuable keepers for my squad.
