3rd pick in a minor league draft comin up

here are the rules - 3 minor leaguers, if they called up you add them to roster & get to replace your minor leaguer w another as well, u can also add/drop minor leaguers at will

(we keep 7 guys every year) after rd 5

ok heres who will be there

Hughes, Bailey (might go 1-2)

Maybin, Upton, Longoria, Wood, Butler

Andrew Miller, Adam Miller, Linecum, Gollardo,

or anyone else u can think of, Gordon, Young & co were allowed to be drafted, so a few guys i should like in rd 1 & 2 would be great

I'd go either Maybin or Longoria

Just look at the rankings at the top of the forum. They should be your guide, they are very solid. I'd probably go Longoria with the thrid pick, and try and steal Kershaw with my next pick. Not sure how many teams are in your league.

I would and did take Butler in the same position in a league where Hughes and Bailey went 1 and 2. Butlers ceiling is as good a stick as there is(somewhere in the Hafner range), and he is only a year away(probably less) from the bigs.

doesn't offer as much value being a DH and all (or soon to be)
