Help my team win please.

Hi, I'm in a 10 team h2h non-keeper league on Yahoo. Categories are 6x6, with k's against batters the sixth batter's stat and pitcher's losses the sixth pitcher's stat.

Please advise if I need to do anything to help my team.

Specifically, I have F. Lopez who I plan to use at 2B, but he's not eligible until 5 starts there. I had planned on starting the season without a 2b for the first week, but am considering picking up a 2b, but don't know who to drop.

Again, main thing I'm wondering is if I can or should drop anyone for a 2B that first week or go without a 2B that first week and keep my players. I'm only really considering dropping Duffy, but if he turns out to be a good speed guy I may wish I had him.
Some 2B eligible players out there are Wiggington, M. Giles, Aurillia, Cantu, Orlando Hudson, J. Vidro and Jose Lopez.

I think you have a real balanced team that should do well in all categories. For 2B I would drop Duffy (he is having a terrible ST and never really has done much) and pick up Cantu. Cantu has had a big season and could break out again. Use him until Lopez is ready and consider keeping him then or finding another OF option. I think you have good steal potential with Lopez, Rollins, Beltran, and Rios. FYI I have Hawpe on my team and just noticed he sprained his ankle...lets hope he is ready for opening day! If not though I think your set with AGonz as a Utility...in fact I would maybe use him instead of Hawpe as U or maybe platoon them...as in dont use Hawpe against lefties cause he isnt great against them and may sit sometimes in favor of Jeff Baker. Something I wish I am considering with him myself, just wish I had someone like AGonz to platoon him with but in a 14 team league its tough to have that!

Bench Hawpe, play Adrian Gonzalez at DH. I would definitely drop Duffy, and pick up Vidro because I think he's ready for a more than solid year. Then, once Lopez gets eligibility, put him in. Your pitching is good, although I'd want someone a little better after Chris Young, maybe you can deal Hawpe or Duffy? Good luck to you!

thanks for replies, also derosa is available. i know some ppl are thinking he's just an average utility player that the cubs overspent on, but in yahoo he's got 2b 3b and of eligibility, so that's a plus. let me know if derosa is a good option. thanks
