Know nothing about Baseball, please help!!!

Ok so I know nothing about baseball as stated I have decided to join a league because it helped my interest in the sport of hockey grow although I was already a fan. I will post a link to my roster. I did not pick any of these players they were automatically given to me. I am hoping you can look at what I have then look what is on the FA market

For knowing nothing about baseball, you did very well I checked out your FA's and I'd probably do the following:

drop Estrada for Thomas
Hillenbrand for Huff
Colon for Maddux

For a twelve team league, that is a hell of a team! I agree with picking up THomas and Maddux. Colon is on his way out and Estrada isn't worth anything. If you want a back up catcher, keep an eye on Ronny Paulino.

Ok Done, what is your feelings on this Matsui I have, he appears to be ranked 875 right now... should I keep him is he someone to expect great things from?

Matsui had a flukey injury and missed about half of the season last year. He's thought to be fully recovered, and he is known as a very solid, dependable #2 outfielder. Keep him in your every-day lineup.

Also, you don't really need to carry a second catcher. Drop him for someone like Frank Thomas or Aubrey Huff.
