A couple other things. I have an empty roster spot and am going to add a SP. There's quite a few good ones available (Penny, Loewen, Josh Johnson, Glavine, Rogers, Escobar, Sowers, Chuck James). Any opinions on which? I'm also considering trying to send Sheffield packing for Pierre. Good move?
I think your team is looking really strong this year. I think you have great starting pitching and your offense is well balanced. If Jeter steals bases like he did last year you are looking great. Speed is the only question mark, but it is a small question mark.
I like your hitters. Even if you steal much, your hitters can get you every other stats.
Pitching wise, if possible see JJ Putz b/c I doubt he's gonna be anywhere near his last season's numbers. Other P looks fine. As for the empty spot, I would take Josh Johnson and stack him in the DL and take either Glavine, Rogers, or Escobar. All three are debatable.
Looks pretty solid from this end, I am however concerned with Sheffield and getting hurt this year, I just have a feeling something will happen to him. I like your closing except for Julio is there anyone better on WW?
I like your lineup, it's very stron. The only thing I'd worry about is speed, as mentioned above. Pitching should be good as well, and should support your lineup well. Overall, I think it turned out great. As for the WW, I like Penny actually.
Great power, good speed, great pitching, although you may want another K guy since I think Halladay's K's are going down this year. Overall one of the best teams I have come across this year.
i trading shef for pierre would be a real good idea because you team can lose the HR and needs to pick up some SB. alsoi think you should pick up either penny or glavine to fill your open spot. just watch and make sure putz's elbow is fine and all things should be good for you
