No way you should make that deal. Berk quals both at 1B, and in OF, which is weak this year. You can upgrade your catcher some other way. Mauer also may be injured, so that's a huge risk too.

Not a good trade for you. I WOULD NOT do it. I would pick up Johnny Estrada. Berkman is a stud and dont make this trade.
