I got 1st pick in my Y! autopick 12-team public leagues, and this is just unreal. The ranks are based on a spreadsheet I made from a set of predictions I have. Last year, 95% of every single statistic were within 2%.
C Ivan Rodriguez #112 1B Adam Dunn #55 2B D'Angelo Jimenez #108 3B Tony Batista #79 SS Alex Rodriguez #1 OF Andruw Jones #21 OF Juan Gonzalez #25 OF Preston Wilson #35 Util Rafael Furcal #40 Bench Hank Blalock #107 Bench Austin Kearns #74 Bench Corey Patterson #75
SP Greg Maddux #4 SP Mark Prior #7 RP Keith Foulke #49 RP Scott Williamson #133 P Kevin Millwood #11 P Kerry Wood #12 P Roger Clemens #26 Bench Jose Contreras #47

OK, so I got a little carried away in the self-praise. But I do have 5 of the top 12 players in a 12-team league, thats pretty impressive. I have the 2nd best catcher, the 8th best 1b, the 6th best 2b, the 5th best 3b, the best ss, and the 7th, 10th, and 13th outfielders... If my predictions are correct (and they have been in the past) I'm pretty sure I can dominate.
You do not have five of the top 12 players in the league. Maddux is not #4, Prior is not #7, and Millwood is not #11. I'd say you only have one person in the top 30, and that's Arod.
Hard for me to be down on this team without knowing the other teams (never played Yahoo either), BUT - not all that impressive. cOrey254 took the words out of my mouth - ARod is your only top 20 (?). I think you'll need help in hitting. Jimenez is weak and no backup. If Batista doesn't produce - Blalock may be in AAA by the time you look to a backup.
On a positive note - Pitching looks good - very balanced squad ..
Good luck ...
