Gomes, McClung and Wood should all be upgraded. I like how you backed up Crosby with Tulow. Maybe get Jose Lopez or Chris Burke by dropping Gomes to back up Kendrick at 2nd?

Pitching appears thin after your top pair. RJ can be a solid #3 if he regains his previous form in ARI. Patterson is nice, and Lilly is good for Ks and a high ERA(especially in wrigley). I think you can do better than McClung and Wood, especially since McClung most likely lost the closing role.

Here are my red flags:

Giambi -- Sell high on him. I don't expect great things from him this year.

Crosby -- no good. thankfully you have troy as a backup.

RP is weak. I see that you're trying to get an eventual closer (McClung and Wood) but I'm sure there are more reasonable candidates available. What the developments in CIncy and Pittsburgh closely.

Looks like average will be a big time issue. Love grabbing Beltran/Sizemore in the first two rounds. Ideally I like to grab 2 OF in the first 3 rounds, and those two address power and SB.

For a 14 team league, you didn't do to bad of a job picking up some players with great upside. That's the main strength of your team..if things go right for a few people, you can dominate.

However, great upside or not, having Sheets be the #1 on your staff isn't a very safe bet.

I'm expecting a lot from Gomes, Francouer, and Tulo this year. Your OF, while not overly dominant, has some solid depth. Unless you can work Roberts into the lineup, the SB department looks like it could be a problem, especially in a Roto league.

Overall, you should expect this team to seriously contend if the pieces fall in order. However, you may want to make some moves to build some security in case the usuals of Wood, Sheets, and Crosby go down.

Anything worth noting on the WW?

I can promise you that if Sheets stays healthy he will be worthy of a #1 spot in the rotation.

as for the waiver wire I just dropped Seth McClung and picked up Chris Iannetta. Other notable players are....

Yeah, of course Sheets could be more than adequate for the #1 spot. However, relying on him to be with that huge injury risk isn't exactly a secure situation.

Looking at the WW, I'd let Lilly go for either of Jennings or Robertson, preferrably the latter.

Thanks for the help. I would try to upgrade your SS. Crosby is crap. The rest of your team looks pretty good!

Your IF looks good, except for Crosby. Paulino has potential. Your OF looks solid. Not sure about Alex Gordon for this year. Sheets if healthy would be good, same can be said for Patterson. Not very high on Lilly or big unit, or your bench P, but P do come as the season goes, so wait for them.
