With my last pick I got Adrian Gonzalez. That was an accident, I ment to pick Anthony Reyes as my fifth starter. So, now I have only four starters.

How's my team otherwise? I'm planning on dropping Gonzalez and snagging a pitcher on waivers. Here are some notable pitchers available:

Id go with Josh Johnson, stash him on dl and pick up patterson with the extra spot!

Grab JJ to place on DL, then grab Escobar. Only problem is you would then have 3 injury-prone pitchers in harden, JJ, and escobar. with that said, I like Penny as a solid 5th starter, although there are others that you can argue for as well...

Solid team, might want to drop one your extra 1b for an extra OF. Hunter and Baldelli are risks. Otherwise pretty good.

Nice team...I would hate to drop Gonzalez since I think he has a big year but you are solid and its got to be someone so....

For a SP I would say Millwood if you want stability and Reyes if you want some big upside potential. OH AND DEFINITELY STASH JJ

OK, I LOVE your hitting, you should win a lot of weeks because your hitting will carry you.


As for your pitching, I would DEFINATELY pick up John Patterson. I am extremely high on him and think he will stay healthy for the whole year, which will mean very good numbers (similar to 2005). Matsuzuka is an unknown but he should get a lot of K's and have an ERA under 4 based on what Ive heard. If Rich Harden stays healthy than you have yourself a steal. I am not very high on Bronson Arroyo this year though...

You should be good with saves.

You definitely don't need gonzalez, but I'd still hold on to him. Makes no sense to trade him now when his value is low (it could skyrocket, so wait a few weeks into the season.)

The plethora of options at SP allows you to go with that strat. One of those SP is going to boom, just make sure you're the one to grab him.

Solid team though. Nice blend of speed/avg/power.
