32 shortstops if you rate them 1-32 in avg hr rbi rs sb.
avg hr rbi rs sb total
Jeter 5.0 2.0 6.5 5.5 1.0 = 20
A Rod 4.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 14.0 = 21
.5 is a tie so Jeter was tited for 6th in rbi and tited for 5th in rs.
5x5 scoring rotisserie

this had to be a joke, A-rod is so much better, he hits more homeruns, more rbi, and does it all on a team that cant win if their life depended on it. Jeter plays on a team which wins 2 out 3 times (most offten).
A-rod over jeter any day.

Everyone knows that ARod is way better than Jeter, but here's why your little math thing is incorrect - there's a limit, which is rank 1. For example, if ARod had 60 HR he'd be in first place and if Jeter had 30 HR and was in second place for that category, the ranks for ARod 1 and Jeter 2, but the difference is a whopping 30 HRs.
Bottom line: Don't even consider Jeter being better than the best.

There is no doubt that ARod is FAR AND AWAY above Derek Jeter. Thanks to The Jury for his analysis - exactly what I was thinking as I read the post.
If SB's are needed, Jeter will help, BUT AROD can be a team unto himself ... lol
