On the red sox messageboard is a new letter supposedly from Keith Foulke. Usually you have to wait 48 hours to post on any MLB site and this guys screen name was created less than an hour ago and has only one post. It may be fake but I thought some people would want to read it anyway since Schilling was on the message boards also a while back.

Dear Boston,
I know you might or might not believe this but I wanted to write it anyways. I Just got off the phone with ESPN. I wanted to thank the Red Sox and their fans for everything they've done for me in the last couple of weeks and for all the patience they've had in dealing with this situation.

I did come to the message boards a few times within the last 14 days and saw nothing but positive comments regarding me and my family.

I'll be honest, it was a tough decision coming to Boston but I think I made the right one!

Thank you and hopefully I can help the RED SOX bring a trophy to New England next year.

Sounds like a fake one to me...Someone trying to capitalize on the press the Schilling message got.


Not that it really matters. Good one Sox....I just hope they don't sell off their team when they lose to the Cubs in the next WS.
