Interesting deal. How good depends on if Drew can stay healthy for all of next year :-o .

I don't really think it's a great deal for the Braves though.
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

It will be hard for Drew to stay healthy..... :-/

I am really suprised that the Braves gave up Wainright...He does have very good talent.....Marquis can be a good pitvher....he just need to learn consistency.....King will help solidify the Cards pen.....Nice trade for the Cards.....but the Braves hurt themselves.... :-/

I will say this dealing a couple mediocre pitchers and a prospect for Drew and Marrero is a good deal for the Braves. Marrero gives them much needed insurance at catcher and depth in the OF. As for Drew well the guy is hurt all the time, but he does have upside and they gave up very little to obtain him. Bottom line is this, the Cards still need pitching.
