The Phillies plan to keep David Bell, Placido Polanco and Chase Utley and rotate the three between two positions next season. The team has little interest in trading Polanco or Utley, though offers will be listed to, of course. Manager Larry Bowa thinks he can get each of the three enough at-bats to keep them happy, but fantasy leaguers may want to stay away from the situation unless one of the players is moved

ohhh so agreed ... stay away. want to know the problem here? Its highlighted. shame to cus I liked Polanco

If David Bell plays like David Bell, he might just force himself out of that rotation. They should definitely leave Polanco in there. How about just a good old spring training competition between Utley and Bell? I have to say, I'd like to see Utley get the everyday start at second and see if Polanco's 2003 was no fluke.

I am not sure if putting Bell on the bench will be an option.
