The pitching does scare me. I was offered Arroyo for Fielder but I think I can always add a decent starter from the waivers if/when Sheets and Patterson go down.

Any other suggestions/comments?

J. Johnson injured, but should be alrite. Martinez injured and probably won't do much this season. Sheets and Gordon are average if Sheets can stay healthy.

Little help?

I think your pitching is solid if unspectacular -- consider replacing J. Johnson due to his injury, and find a replacement for Pedro while he's DL. I think your infield is pretty average with Piazza/Kendrick cancelling out Tex and Zim. Your OF is obviously what you're counting on for production, but if Soriano runs less often this year (a real possibility) you will be hurting in SB as a team, with nothing coming from your Util or bench to help out much.

Not bad for being drunk, you must not have been drinking Mad Dog.

I like the pitching actually, I think Sheets is in line for a big year, and Smoltz is a rock. I wouldn't make any moves on that front until you see how Sheets starts the year, after a month or two, you can look for more pitching.
You need another closer, unless this is an incredibly deep league. Gordon will probably go on the shelf at some point this year. K-rod, while in no danger of losing his job, could be handcuffed to Shields, a great MR for vulture wins and solid numbers across the board. Look for Julio, Broxton, Borowski, etc. for some cheap saves, maybe also Matt Capps.

Offense isn't bad either, though I'm not high on Lopez this year. You could do much worse though. And Prince Fielder should definitely be your utility guy until Beltre starts to roll

Help me out?

Lopez had 44 sb's plus Baldelli should steal about 20, if healthy. Team that with 30-40 with Soriano and I think I can at least compete in SB's, especially in a head to head league.

I'd say Piazza is a better than average catcher in 12-team league. Same for Kendrick.
