Very Interesting ..... ..

Clemens said on the radio todaty that he was concerned that his Yankees' farewell gift -- a Hummer -- would be taken away if he decided to resume his career. It looks like that won't be a problem, though, as a Houston-based dealer has already offered to replace the Hummer if Clemens comes out of retirement. When asked if he would be in an Astros uniform come April, Clemens responded "maybe," and that the Hummer offer made things interesting. The radio show's deal is good only until Monday morning

What do the Yankees care if Clemens goes to Houston?

They'll worry about them if they make the series. Only need to worry about the Sox at this point.

Sure, it will be irritating, but it's no big deal to the Yanks.

Just like Roger: After make millions upon millions of dollars, he might not play because of a Hummer. Uggh. Typical.
I'm back. Sorta.

Transmogrifier, I'm sure he was just joking on the radio show. Yeah, I'm sure Clemens was real worried about that.

Poor Sox fans still can't even like Clemens.

I think Rocket is just jerking w/ people, just to be jerkin. Nolan Ryan has more chance of strapping it on.
If I were playing third base and my mother were rounding third with the run that was going to beat us, I'd trip her. Oh, I'd pick her up and brush her off and say, 'Sorry, Mom,' but nobody beats me.

I'd give it a 50/50 shot at him pitching for the Astros next year. ;-)

Poor Rangers fans...facing the dilemma of having to unload their star SS for pitching, and here the Astros go and pick up a Hall of Famer just because. ;-)

Should Clemens decide to unretire, it would be interesting to see what the Astros could come up with in an offer.....dumping Hidalgo somewhere would seem to gain some immediacy.
