hey folks. i have the first overall pick in a 11-man roto 5x5 league serpentine draft. this is a very competitive private league. the guy with the 10th pick is interested in trading. if i trade my 1st and 22nd overall picks for his 10th and 13th overall picks, what other picks should i get in return? i'm having a hard time figuring out these values. thanks in advance.

Honestly, I wouldn't trade those picks, but if I did, I would ask for his third round pick as well. if you traded your 1 and 22 for his 10, 13, and 32, that would be about right (notice you keep your 23).
That being said, I would take Pujols and forget about trading.

wow, i didn't think the consensus would be so strong to take pujols. if i did receive his third round pick as well i would need to trade another draft pick in return. would i offer something like a 15th round pick? thanks again.

You start with Pujols, and at pick 22 I'd personally follow it up with Jeter/Rollins

If you have to offer a pick to balance rosters, it should be your last pick, but I still wouldn't do the trade.

if you have the opportunity to get pujols on your team, there is no reason to be thinking trade. triple crown
