Just looking to see what everyone's personal choice is for favorite album from 2003? Or choices if you can't widdle it down to one....

First choice would be Blur's Think Tank.....

followed by Ryan Adams' Rock N Roll.

Hmm ... lessee ...

I like it, but I'm not sure it'll age well: Elephant by the White Stripes (Does it still count as a 2003 release if it sounds like all their other stuff?)

I like it, but there's no way I'll admit it in public: Hotel Paper by Michelle Branch (And none of you ever heard me say this)

The one album this year will be remembered for: The Eminem Show (Like him, hate him, some of this is pretty brilliant)

All in all, though, it wasn't really much of a year for music (at least it didn't seem that way to me). Then again, maybe I'm just still recovering from hearing Liz Phair try to reinvent herself. Yikes! :-o

I'm with you on The White Stripes. I enjoyed White Blood Cells quite a bit, and as good as their follow-up may be, it can be difficult to listen to the same sound over the span of multiple albums.

Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue
Catch 22 - Dinosaur Sounds
Brand New - Deja Entendu

I had trouble just narrowing it down to three, let alone one. ;-)

Guess who's back?
Back again.
Shady's back.

although, some of that rap (aka eminem show) does bring out the gangsta side of me !+)
