1st time commish, long time player desparate for help

Last Year my group played Yahoo H2H and the majority did not like the way it was set up. They did not like having each cat. count as a game for the week. They wanted the won-loss total to be 1 after a week and not 10 ect. So at end of week 1 you would be 1-0 or 0-1 rather than 5-5.

Well I found that ESPN has a system like this. I set up the league but the stat categories in my opinion leave alot to be desired. There are alot of key categories that you can not choose.

I will list the categories, I would like to make it 6x6 and also each category will need to be assigned a point value as thats the way this system is run. So please help me decide which categories to choose and come up with point values for them.

So basically I need your help comming up with 1 more batting stat and 2 more pitching stats. I also need your help devising a point system to go with each stat if possible.

If anyone sees a better combonation of stats please speakup, im in dire need of help, time is running out.

Hitting, either walks or total bases.

Pitching, hmm..Whip and holds is what I'd do myself.

This is coming from someone who hasn't done H2H before so this may not be the best but it's just my thought.

I actually use the same system (Most Categories Wins) in my ESPN league and it's 6x6 as well. I use OBP for hitting and IP for pitching. IP is kind of a lame category but ESPN doesn't have an option for an innings minimum for some stupid reason, so this addresses that, and we also have a moves limit to prevent teams from streaming pitchers just to win IP.

OBP and WHIP are not options that i can choose, this system by ESPN does not offer them. Unless I am doing something wrong.

Look at the top section of categories...they're definitely there. Under "Most Frequently Used" at the top.
