What do you guys think will happen to him this offseason?
Will he be traded or non-tendered?
Ive heard talks that the White Sox are interested in him.
If the M's do trade him to the Sox, who could they be looking at getting in return?
thanks
I think he'll stay. The M's may have a deep bullpen, their rotation options are pretty much set and they don't seem to be willing to spend a lot of extra money. I think Garcia will stay. maybe a change of scenery would be good for him though.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if Seattle non tenders him. Not in the least.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Garcia won't be pitching in Seattle this year. Chicago has shown quite of bit of interest. If he's not traded, he will be non-tendered. With the Guardado signing, and Shiggy, the talk here is it looks like Soriano will be in rotation.

I think it would be a mistake. You're talking about a two time allstar with an ERA title under his belt. A career record of
72-43 to go along with an ERA of 3.97. 4 of his 5 years in the big leagues he reached 200+ innings. He's developed a nice slider to go along with his plus fastball, curveball, change. And he is only 27 yrs old and is still learning how to pitch.
