Will George stop being a dope this off-season, forget that lowballing Sheffield and offer 2 or 3 million more dollars to get ourselves the best RF in the game, Vladimir Guerrero? Especially after losing Pettitte, a signing of Vlad would be a gesture of good faith to Yankee fans that are worried about the direction of this team. Vlad is quiet and doesn't appear to be a douche like greedy Gary #$#$#$. I say, Vlad over Sheff, trade for Brown, and I'm happy. That's my 2 cents.

Both of them wouldnt do that well in the AL with the DH. Maddux would be hit harder though... I doubt that Vlad will go to the Yanks, I still think that it is more likely that Sheff will sign.

No way do I want any piece of Maddux OR Millwood I say, get Vlad, who fits our needs much better than Sheffield does- youth, defense. We also need to ditch Weaver and grab Brown who I consider a much better pitcher than "5 inning Maddux" or "5 year deal Millwood."
