That's correct, it is still in use.
I believe someone wrote an article saying it was going to be removed, which caused a lot of confusion.

It will still be in use. According to some players they were over humidifying the balls in the first part of the last season when all those shutouts were pitched in Coors.

MLB regulates it all, and the Rockies have not been "doctoring" the baseballs. I did find it funny when opposing hitters complained last season instead of opposing pitchers though.
The Rockies actually made a commericial to spoof "doctoring" the balls. If anyone wants to watch it is viewable at coloradorockies.com
12 shutouts in '06. Usually there are 3-4. record was 6. eight of these 12 occurred before june. runs scored per out were at its lowest ever. the game after jeff cirillo's comments broke the record low runs streak. there is decent reason to suspect something was going on.

Just out of curiosity. How effective do you guys thing the humidor really is?
Because guys like Atkins and Holliday still had monster years. You think Coors at absolutely nothing to do with it?
I mean I think they both have some pretty nice talent. Just wondering.
