I really think Shawn Hill is worth picking up now. He is showing that he can keep the ball on the ground (15 ground balls- 6 Fly ball outs last outing), and that will definatly pay divident in the black hole that is RFK.
Also, for all those people complaining about his WHIP, it currently stands at 1.07! And while he may not be a strikeout pitcher, he does have a 20-8 strikeout walk ratio.
It's still early in the season, but combine this April with Spring training and a couple of starts last year and you have a SERIOUS sleeper out there.

It looks like tomorrow morning I am throwing Chris Ianetta onto the dung heap tomorrow morning for this guy Hill.
Can't argue with 5/5 quality starts and an OBA of .223.
New staff:
Cain
Snell
Olsen
Wolf
Hirsh
S. Hill
Danks
Pelfrey
Yep, deep league
My Friendliness bar...recently shrunk from 11.3 to 10mm long!!

Yea i think he is a great fit in most formats. I grabbed him in my 14 team league a while ago to go along with
Peavy
harden
bush
Shields
Ortiz
Loewen
Olsen
S.Hill
Pedro
have an era below 1 this week with a whip around .60 with starting the right guys. I Like Hill a lot and hopefully he can keep this up!

12-3 GB-FB today, with 3 strikeouts.
on the year he's 79-37 with 28 strikeouts,
so 79% of his outs have come on grounders/strikeouts.
not bad
