I've hit royals before, but the only things I've won for them was a $300 high hand of the day pot and a T-Shirt from Absolute (I think it was Absolute - not positive though as they've basically all sent me shirts for something or other).

Never, but I've played against a few.

I have had the flop come 8,7,6 spades when I was holding 9,10 spades. That was pretty sick. :-)

The casino here also pays 100 to a royal of hearts, diamonds and clubs. It just sucks that its a limit only casino except for the MTT and STT. BUt then again you can play 1-2 or straight 2 dollar limit and hit the royal. The most ive seen it at this year was 56,000. If I hit it for that much i have no idea what Id do. Probably have bought a car today and had my tuition for the next two years coverd, now i have just next semesters covered.

I hit it once on the flop in a game with my friends, but nobody else had a card higher than an 8 and everyone folded, despite a low bet from my part. It was disappointing. :-D

i flopped a royal flush of spades on party poker before holding k10 of spades. guy went all in on me too for like 800...needless to say i called...

very cool story ryan ;-D

surprised no one mentioned that you tipped $700 ;-D
