Offense will probably need an improvement with batting average. I don't think I would want both Dunn and Thomas on my team. You look very good with steals. If average ends up not being a problem then I think this offense is strong.

You need to improve your starters. After Johan and Kazmir it does not look good. Hopefully Lee will come back and help. With only 2 top starters and 2 closers, the pitching categories are in trouble.

Thanks for your help.

Offense looks pretty balanced for a league with many starting spots. I think the AVG is OK if Thomas holds around 270 (and doesn't fall back to the 220-250 range) and Francouer takes baby steps into the 270-290 range. It helps having the batting champ to pull things up. I see power and speed there.

SP is your weak spot - it's Johan/Kazmir and pray. Of your other SPs, I figure half will pan out but the other half could be disasters. I like what you're doing with RPs. Broxton+Zumaya = another stud SP. Plus, one of them could be the closer later in the season. There probably aren't any more closers left, but you have some back-up that may pay dividends.

I think you're probably good to go for the season. If a SP like Lee, Glavine, Bonser turns out to be really stinky, cut them loose for the guys that emerge (and promising good SPs always emerge.

I would have to agree that at face value your pitching may need a bit of help...although Bonser, Snell, Lee, or Reyes could come up big and help you out in the end. Avg could also be a bit of a problem. Maybe see if you could trade Thomas for say Adrian Gonzalez...maybe not straight up but in a package. I think Gonzalez has a great year and will definitely help you more on avg. then Thomas...and could get you close to his HR total.
