I expect .265 with 30 homers, 90 RBI and a stint on the DL.
i hope so...
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

Burrell hitting behind burrell?
Getting twice the ABS = double fantasy value

.270? That's pretty optimistic. He's a poor man's Adam Dunn.
He's been getting a lot of hits. His average has been excellent, considering I didnt draft him for average. It seems like every game he's going 2-4 or 1-2 and then gets pulled in the 6th or 7th. I guess thats for defense or a pinch runner, but he's been a lot of the phillies offense. What is the feeling with Phillie homers about Pat Burrel getting pulled in all these games?
I' ma Phillie fan, so I can possibly shed some light on this. Most Phils fans hate Burrell. They think he's overpaid and that he underperforms. This year though, they are warming to him a bit after a good start. As far as the subsitutions, if Burrell gets on after the 6th, he comes out for a pinch runner (Michae lBourne) who stays in the game for defense. If he gets out after the 6th, Bourne often enters the game for defense in the 7th. It often comes back to bite the Phils as his turn in the order comes back around in a crucial spot and a guy with a .176 average is protecting Ryan Howard at that point. I think they shouldn't take him out until the 8th, if at all.
