:-? With the Colon signing, are the Angels going to sit tight with their pitching staff or does this mean they are more comfortable in parting with someone like Washburn in a package to get Nomar?

Normar is too good to pass up... and he wants to play in the LA area in 2005 so this would be a great way to get him lcoked up like what the cards did in 97 with McGwire ;-D

Bartolo Colon is not worth 51 million dollars for 4 years. He is fat and ugly and he only strikes 180 guys a year because they have to close their eyes when they look at his ugly face. Bartolo Colon is trash and i dont understand why the angels didnt just offer him like 16 million and a 4 year supply of pizza when they know that 35 million of his 51 mill contract is going to go directly to his pizza fund.

ok now that i got that out of the way. While the angels overpaid because colon was the best sp on the market, colon is going to be the ace of the angels staff and they need a colon to be good next season.

absoloutely nothing

Nice bad calls, uhmmmmm, I mean beating the A's in the playoffs.

2nd place in the AL west was good enough to win the world series and keep the sox out of the playoffs in 2002.

Until Oakland gets another bat or two, I don't think they can win the West next year. It's looking more and more like the Angels next year.

If the Arod deal goes through, then the rumor is Washburn will be a Red Sox next year while Nomar will join the Angels. ;-)

That would be too bad for Kim. I also read the possibility that Washburn could be dealt by Boston for another position player. :-?

Lots of questions as to what Boston's final team will be.
