It's a risky move, not just because of the weight issues but also due to concerns about his elbow. However, Colon should be a major asset in 2004. It's best to ignore last year's 15-13 record and 3.87 ERA. He actually had a better WHIP and strikeout rate than he did during his 20-win 2002
WOW ...... when does that balance of power thing change again ???
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
hmm now the al central has no pitching .. lets see.. they got sabathia.. buerhle.. santana.. the only pitcher worth talkin about in the central is santana.. the hitters are gonna feast of this next year
Even before these changes (Colon, Escobar), I think the Angels are a contender in the west next year. Their roster is strong and well-balanced. #1 is probably still reserved for Oakland, but the Angels might be able to edge out Seattle for second, with these current teams.

Great job Anaheim .. [/quote]
I see where our priorities are at:
1. Lower beer prices
2. A competitive ballclub
