just got done drafting earlier in the week for a 6 man keeper league...I finished 4 out of 12 last year and picked 9th overall

My team:
McCann (keeper)
Morneau (keeper)
M. Cabrera (keeper)
Jason Bay (keeper)
Hafner (Keeper)
Brandon Phillips
Julio Lugo
Cuddyer
Freel
Peralta
Dave Roberts
Jacque Jones

Sabathia (keeper)
Lackey
Brett Myers
Scott Olsen
Garza
D. Cabrera
Jenks
Saito
F. Cordero

let me know what you think...are there any glaring needs I need to address?

Ehhh.

I would like an elite closer or top starter and some more power, but that is just me.

Not that I am a fanatasy genious but take a look at how I draft. I would be happy with a team like this thus far.

Without knowing the structure of your league (i.e. categories, roto vs H2H, how many teams) it is tough to give an opinion.

But it looks like a decent team. You have power (morneau, Hafner, Bay, Cabrera). You have some speed ... though no low risk big SB guys (Freel and Roberts have the potentioal, but both carry real risks, obviously) - though you do have nice help on the margin in SB with Bay, cabrera, Jones, Lugo and Phillips.

I like your staff: No true studs, but good balance. Nothing wrong with Sabathia, Lackey, Myers and olsen to lead your staff, with Garza and D. Cabrera as flyers. And though your closers have risks, you do have 3 of them.

You could probably use an upgarde over Peralta, and one more surer quality picther of some type.

You're going to have to consider trading a big hitter for a great SP at some point.

I might consider turfing Dave Roberts or Jacque Jones or both, depending on who's available.

You could take a flier on another OF, and possibly get another SS in case Peralta doesn't rebound (I think he should be fine, but just in case).

Thoughts on mine?

you need one more good SP, and to upgrade that OF after bay. I like cuddyer as a 3rd OF more than a 2nd one.

Looks like a good team except I rather keep Lackey than Sabethia.....

Also I might opt to keep 2 SP rather than just 1, just me tho.
