like your 1st 3 pitchers for an 18 teamer. Drop Kotsay(he's out do to back surgery) and johnson is on the DL likely till june, so i'd see what 1B types are in the FA pool. Although you could play shealy at 1B, feliz at UTL in the meantime.

Not a big fan of bautista, even in a 18 teamer, what OF's are on waivers. Also, like you said saves are an issue. It may be best for you to punt them altogether with your roster.

what pitchers are avail. Based on those free agents i'd go the shealy/feliz route until johnson returns.

I'd probably pick up Sanders for kotsay though.

Norton may be intriguing if he can wrestle the DH slot away from Gomes this spring...

otherwise, Thorman and Choo are the most intruiging to me...man, 18 team leagues are mega-tough.

Thanks for your input. I wouldn't worry about saves just yet as there are many teams that don't have a solid closer, but being in a 18 man league if anyone has read up on the news they might've taken all the potential backup closers, Broxton, Wheeler, etc. Again, since you're in a 18 man league I'd suggest holding onto Nick Johnson rather than dumping him. Wait for him to come back and then he'll have some trade value or good enough value to keep on your team permanently. Good Luck ;-D

I like this team. Solid hitting. I have big hopes for Furcal as well.

How deep is you league? Only 1 closer?
