Duckworth isn't as bad as his era. He was victim to a high hit rate 33%, and a poor strand rate 66%. A era can be effected by 3% off the 30% average hit rate, and a strand rate of 70%, and lower. What this means is more hits fell in then should have (bad luck), and the bullpen left him out to dry (let his runners score more then they should have), 75% about average. Duckworth in a nl league is worth a late pick.
