I was just wondering when the DL option will be available in Yahoo leagues.

I currently have Nick Johnson and want to store him on the DL and pick up Westbrook. :-Â°

I'm assuming opening day?

yeah after the opening day rosters arwe announced, the DL function will work.

Well, I wonder...

Teams don't actually have to use the DL now because they aren't required to name the 25-man roster until a couple of days before Opening Day. But if a team puts a player on the DL a week before the season starts so that they can come off the DL a week after the season starts (think Wood or Prior), would not Yahoo give them DL eligibility at that point?

they can be back dated on the DL. A team can put a guy on the DL April 1st and say that it is retroactive to whenever the last time he played in a game was.
