I won't tell you what I put, but I thought you may find the results interesting.

That is the exact reason why the sox are ahead in those polls. Sure there are some that legitimately think the Sox will beat the Yanks, but I would venture to say that most of the votes were cast based on the voter's likes and dislikes and more people dislike the Yankees than the Sox. Why? Quite simply because they win.

True, there's a lot of Yankee haters.

I think there are legit reasons for picking the Sox this year.

Anyway, I voted with the top choice (Vlad, Curt, Sox, Sox), save two: I think the Marlins were "smart" not to offer him a four year contract (too old, for that money), and the Expos are "riddiculous". I think it's beyond tragic. :( How sad for baseball.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

"I think the Marlins were "smart" not to offer him a four year contract (too old, for that money)"

I agree, Pudge tried to hamstring them by the !+) !+) 's and they were smart not to give in. Boras's reasoning on "the four year deal at 10 blah blah Mike Lowell blah blah Postseason MVP blah blah" was full of holes.
If I were playing third base and my mother were rounding third with the run that was going to beat us, I'd trip her. Oh, I'd pick her up and brush her off and say, 'Sorry, Mom,' but nobody beats me.

I think they should have given him 2 years, $20 million with a mutual option for a third year and $10 million. He probably would have taken that.

He wanted a four year deal...he wouldn't have taken that. The Marlins were smart, IMO

We'll see. I think that's what he will end up with no matter where he lands though.
