Damon and Ibanez were reaches, but they are consistent if not great fantasy performers.
Otherwise, this was an outstanding draft. You must mean your first this year, not your first ever. Piazza in the 17th was outstanding. Sure, he might get hurt, but if he doesn't, you've got a catcher to rival the big three without coughing up the top pick for him, and that's an easy position to waiver wire for.
You asked about Kent? He's def. worth owning, but you have the best 2B and two solid choices already behind him. If you think this is going to be an active league, I'd chance it with Scott as the dropper. (Scott's worth owning, but you'd probably get him back if you could trade Kent ASAP.) It's a credit to you that he's your potential dropper. But if your league is tough to trade in.....(Last year, I had three 3B and couldn't give one away, until I finally traded the two best....that's no fun.)
Thoughts on mine?
