He's going to close no matter where he is, right? Be it SF, Cincy, Florida, Boston, if there's a closer opening and he goes there, he WILL close (unless he gets hurt of course), correct? I don't see anyone trading for him as set-up.

Unless Putz's injury issues are more serious than people are being led to believe.

Regardless, at least initially, I think Benitez is the closer anywhere he goes. $7MM is an expensive set-up man, even by today's standards.

Here is what to expect from Benitez this year:

1st- he'll get traded to some sucker
2nd- he'll save 5 or 6 games
3rd- he'll get hurt for a week or 2
4th- he'll save a couple more games
then.... he'll get hurt again
then.... he'll blow 1 or 2 saves, get hurt
then... he'll save 1, blow 1, save 2, blow 1
then... you'll want to drop him, b/c no one will want him in a trade....
