Check out the Cafe positional rankings, and shoot for one of the higher rated 1Bs (you won't get the top 2 or 3, but beyond that).

Teams with solid 1Bs:
Team 1: Berkman, Derrek Lee and Carlos Delgado, Ivan Roderiguez... his only SS is Julio Lugo

Team 2: Pujols, Teixeira, Brandon Phillips, Orlando Hudson SSs: Michael Young, Orlando Cabrera

Team 3: 1Bs: Ryan Howard, David Ortiz, Gary Sheffield, Justin Morneau SSs: Rollins, Steven Drew

Teams with solid 2Bs:
Team 1: Utley, Brian Roberts, Biggio only has Jose Reyes @ SS

I think your best bet is with team 1 or team 3. Ramirez or Furcal are upgrades on Lugo or Drew(at MI). And either Lee or Delgado(and obviously berkman) would really help you. Or Morneau/Ortiz/Howard.

At 2B, I don't see a point in upgrading unless you get utley. I think kendrick/burke is solid enough and not going to kill you.

What is the best possible trade for me of those two which the other guy would accept?

i'd try furcal/overbay for lee/lugo 1st. he may undervalue lee do to his injury plagued 2006 and you could put lugo at 2b or MI.

With team 3 i'd say start with furcal/overbay for morneau and drew. You'll probably need to go up to hanley though to get any of his 3 top 1B.

I might see if that guy would trade sheffield cheap(for something other than furcal/hanley) and get him instead as he could be very solid as well.

I made the Furcal/Overbay for Lee/Lugo offer... should I try making the other offers to the other guy at the same time? And would my SPs be strong enough if i picked up Escobar and Bush for Vizquel and Molina? Or should I still try to trade up for someone better?

I personally think that offer would benefit you the most(lugo > drew by a bigger margin than morneau > lee). It's your call if you would rather wait it out or offer both guys being happy with either deal. It's early, so i'd wait personally.

As far as your SP goes, if you can get those two I think you can manage there for right now, though i'd still try to upgrade at some point in the season.

This guy says he's willing to trade some starting pitching for help at 1B or SS

His SPs:
Chris Carpenter, Brandon Webb, Dontrelle Willis, Ervin Santana, Pedro Martinez and Jon Garland

My SSs and 1Bs:
Hanley, Furcal, Vizquel, Kendrick, Overbay
