First time playing Fantasy Baseball how is my roster?

What are my strengths/weaknesses? What adjustments do I need to make? I would appreciate as much feed back as possible. Thanks!

A major weakness I see is that you have 3 Catchers. If you start 1, I don't even recommend carrying 2, nevermind 3. In a 10-team league, Chris Burke doesn't make the cut as a starting 2B IMO, and 1B is deep enough where I think you ought to have stronger starters there than Overbay and Kendrick.

I do like your speed, but am wondering how many players start at each position?? If you only start 1 SS for example, try and move Furcal or Hanley to a team that needs speed and/or a SS, and try and upgrade your 2B or 1B.

Check out your draft, and look at the round where you drafted your player you want to move, and see if there are any players who fit your needs drafted around the same area. Then see if that team could use the player you want to move. Who are some of the top arms and bats on Waivers???

Pick up Frank Thomas for Omar Vizquel immediately.
Pick up Kelvim Escobar for Bengie Molina immediately.
Pick up Dave Bush for Paul LoDuca immediately.
Try to move Furcal or Hanley for help at 1B or 2B.
Test the waters and see what you can get for Teahen.

Drop both backup catchers. Move Kendrick to 2B, and you need to upgrade at 1B badly.

OF is great, as is SS. SP is very weak, closers are nice.

You need to trade one of hanley/furcal for either a 1B or SP. You also might consider dealing a closer or downgrading slightly at OF/trading baldelli for a SP. Vazquez as your 2nd SP is not good at all.

pitchers out of that group I like: olsen, wainwright, bush, escobar, penny. I'd drop vizquel and the two catchers for 3 of them. Pick up thomas instead of one if he qualifies at 1B.

well if I had to rank the pitchers it would be bush, escobar, penny, olsen , wainwright. I could see putting olsen in front of penny as well.

Frank Thomas should be your top priority. Then Escobar, then Bush.
