I think the chances of that happening are quite slim, but that certainly isn't a knock on Slowey. The Twins were quite impressed with him during spring training (he apparently nearly lost the sight in one eye due to a corneal ulcer). Garza has simply dominating stuff while Slowey is a command type pitcher often compared to Brad Radke. He will almost certainly get an audition with the big team later in the year however.

That's a good assessment. Slowey will have to wait his turn behind Garza, but at the very least he is a September callup this year, I would say it's likely he is up before then.
