SERIOUS OWNERS NEEDED FOR KEEPER LEAGUE!!!
I am looking for 12 - 14 owners for a dedicated Keeper league through Yahoo fantasy baseball. It will involve NL and AL mixed major and minor league rosters, season and off-season trades, drafts based on standings, expansion teams, winter and fall sessions in chat rooms, voting with polls. THE LEAGUE WILL HAVE A YAHOO GROUP AND A WEBPAGE.

I am looking for serious owners and a co-comissioner.

team what are the rules for the keeper and is it going to be like a 5X5 or what ? I am def interested!!!! please give me the details

Hey guys, I just wanted to get back to you about the league. I encourage you to join as it will be fun. All you have to do is follow the link above and join the Yahoo Group and it will let you in. As far as the league it already has 7 teams in the 3 days it has been advertised, so it is filling up fast. The rules will be democratically chosen by the league so they are subject to change.

Here is a reply I sent to someone with some good information:

"Well, I'll start with cost. I doubt there will be any cost as we will
probably be doing it in Yahoo free fantasy baseball. If the whole
league decides to go for Yahoo Plus it might be around 10 bucks a
piece, but I doubt it. Plus, it would have to be a majority vote as
it will be a democratic league.

Scoring will most likely be rotisserie in an AL/NL mixed league with
30 players onthe roster I'm thinking 10 positions and 6-7 pitching
positions gaining points each day. Plus a 5-10 minor league roster
per team. At the end of the season we have keepers and keep our minor
league rosters all is subject to change though. However, when we get
the full league filled up, I will send out a league constitution with
all the rules outlaid in GREAT GREAT detail including scoring,
waivers, rosters, trades, free agents etc... After that I will have a
period of contestation before 2004 team naming and draft where any
player has the right to contest a rule. Any rule or article or
amendment will be compiled on a list. That list will be emailed to
each owner and voted on.I am thinking of allowing two weeks to look
aver the constituion, one wekk to give me your amendments and one
week to get the votes to me. So about a month of fixing teh
constitution. When I have recieved all lists I will change the
amendments that have recieved majority vote: 7/12 or 8/14 depending
on teams.

After the constitution is sured up team naming will take place. Then
Live Yahoo draft. Then Free agency period and prelim trades. When the
season begins and things settle down we will do a minor league draft.

Aside from the normal Yahoo Fantasy pages we will have the Yahoo
Groups Page for calendar of events, posts, polls and other stuff. But
I will also have a webpage with rosters, minor leaguers, standings,
amendments, events, dates, etc...

It should be entertaining, challenging and professional!
